4. What is Foundations of Advanced Algebra?
In Foundations of Advanced Algebra, you will solidify and build upon concepts and applications from previous math courses, preparing you for Algebra II. You will be engaged in realistic problem solving, hands- on investigations, discovery learning and presentations.

Goal: The goal when solving equations is to isolate the variable on one side.
We do this by using inverse operations. What are inverse operations?

12. Golden Rule of Solving
Whatever you do to one side of the equation, you do the exact same thing to the other side of the equation.
Why do we have to follow this rule?
