3. XenData X1500 Overview XenData6 Workstation software manages one or more stand-alone LTO-5 drives on a Windows 7 workstation. All archive and restore operations to and from LTO use Windows Explorer. This means that the archive system operation is easy and intuitive. The system retains information about the contents of all offline tapes. It is suitable for a large offline digital video archive where the LTO tapes are handled manually. Reports for managing the contents of the complete archive are available.

LTO Cartridge Contents Report displays contents of a selected tape which includes any offline tape. File Search identifies the tape cartridges that contain files which meet search criteria. Report Data can be exported to other applications

9. XenData X1500 XenData6 Workstation Licensing Licensing assigns a specific tape drive to the software. This means that the software may be installed on multiple workstations which can then be used with the assigned tape drive.

10. XenData X1500 LTO Cartridge Compatibility with XenData Server Solutions LTO tapes are written with tar format and are compatible with those created by XenData server solutions. Workstation system useful at DR location with replica LTO tapes created using XenData server. Ideal for ingesting to LTO tapes and then transfer to a SX-10 or a SX-500 archive system.
