4 Welcome to Photo Chop! During this lesson we will be exploring…
But before we start, let’s recap on what we learnt during our last lesson… Digital Collage Welcome… Image:

5 During our last lesson we learnt that 3D Collage …
combines and assembles 3D objects like furniture and present them like a 2D picture. During our last lesson we learnt that 3D Collage … can be created using glass and layering techniques to give the illusion that they are floating, suspended or have a life of its own. can be as big as a room and can be interactive like Gregor Kregar’s artwork – Archie.

6 Let’s start this lesson by exploring “Digital Collage”.

7 In the last lesson we saw artists take collage from 2D to 3D.
With the wonders of technology in today’s world, artists are now making collage using digital tools and media. Let’s take a look at 4 artists who create collage in the digital world. In the last lesson we saw artists take collage from 2D to 3D.

14 What have we learnt so far?
Digital Collage can include using a computer to digitally cut, layer and paste different images together. can combine digital layering of photos and video to reflect stories of people and different places. uses different technologies like computers, video and animation software to create moving digital collage.

15 During our Te Tuhi visit we will think about space, depth and technology. In the art studio we will combine magazine pictures, card and other art materials to create our very own collage.
