3 Lesson 10 Usage Continued Porque written as one word means because. El abogado está cansado porque trabaja mucho. The lawyer is tired because he works a lot. Por qué written as two words means why. ¿Por qué está cansado el abogado? Why is the lawyer tired? Both words are pronounced the same. We tell the difference through the context when we here them.
