6 Arete (mountian ridge)

7 Hanging Valley – a smaller valley joining the main valley.

8 Arete U-Shaped Valley Corrie with a tarn or lochan

9 V-shaped valley U-shaped valley hanging valley waterfall

10 Corrie Hill summit Hanging valley U-shaped valley Arête

11 Map question Give 4 figure grid references for each feature:-
