1 Student Scheduling Tutorial
Foxborough High School Student Scheduling Tutorial A step by step lesson on how students can request their courses for next school year. High School registration will be available from 2/11/19 - 2/27/19. Registration for current 8th grade students was done with FHS Guidance Counselors on 1/23/19.

2 Go to http://foxborough.k12.ma.us/
Click on the PowerSchool icon

3 Click “Student/Parent Access.”

4 Log into your PowerSchool Account.

5 Click “Class Registration” on the left to start the process.

6 Below is the opening selection screen
Below is the opening selection screen. Each of the courses with red exclamation points must be selected. Click on the pencil box to choose a course for each subject.

7 COURSE REQUESTS You will see a screen that contains available courses to request for each subject. You MUST choose the course you were recommended for by your teacher. Note: If you disagree with the recommended course from your teacher, you must fill out an override form, available in Guidance or on the FHS Guidance website.

8 COURSE REQUESTS Once you select the box to choose the course, click “Okay.”

9 COURSE REQUESTS A green check mark will appear after a required course is selected. The selected course will also appear.

10 Seniors must choose either AP English 12, AP Capstone, OR
TWO semester English electives. For the semester courses, choose the CP option. Once you select the courses, click “Okay.”

11 SENIORS Also, although English, Math, and PE are the only required courses for seniors, it is strongly recommended that all major subjects are represented. This is especially true if you plan on applying to college.

12 ELECTIVES Once all major subjects are selected, you must choose elective credits to equal at least 6.75 credits.

13 ELECTIVES For ALL electives, choose the CP option. You will be choosing Honors or CP during your first week of the course.

14 ALTERNATE ELECTVES After all electives are selected, choose one Alternate Elective.

15 ALTERNATE ELECTVES Choose one Alternate Elective. If you don’t get one of your first requests, this will be a backup choice.

16 FINAL SUBMISSION You must click SUBMIT in order for choices to be recorded. If 6.75 credits are not selected, NO choices will be recorded. The number of credits are available in the bottom left of the course registration screen.
