SSA initiated community participation through VEC

6. Special watch on under RTE
Do all children receive good quality education as per the RTE?
Are there any gaps in school? Do teacher and support employees have any problems? Do people have any complaints regarding school transaction?
What can be done to solve these? In case of denial, irregularities, quality, distribution etc. it need to find the reasons for this and take steps to ensure that this does not happen again in the future.
Planning of SDP at the local level should take into consideration the specific education needs of the area, and should be done after proper consultation with people and through their cooperation.

Direct, independent information from beneficiaries helps S&ME officials to know about gaps, expectations for better planning
Helps monitor, improve performance of field level staff
Generates ‘unbiased’ information which can be communicated to higher levels for modifying priorities, enhancing resources
Help Local Authority to update data and track the child
Convergence with other department in all label

10. We as a team will contribute for changing the Education scenario of the state and promoting quality life
