3 What is the Declaration of Independence?
The Declaration of Independence was celebrated on July 4, 1776. The first copy of the Declaration of Independence had the names of the people who took part in it. The Declaration of Independence has the names of the people in 4 columns. In 1776 Continental Congress agreed that they should be free from British rule. Thomas Jefferson wrote a letter to the King of England called the Declaration of Independence. The Declaration of Independence was written in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

4 How did the The Declaration of Independence affect the New York that we live in today?
