2. Glossary of Terms
Coax – to convince somebody to do something by being friendly or nice. (Ex – “No matter how hard I tried, I was unable to coax a raise out of my boss.”
Anxious – excitedly nervous. (Ex – “I was so anxious to go to Disney World I could barely contain myself.”)
Reed – a tall, thin grass in or near water.
