Find an advertisement
If it’s a print ad, bring it in; if it’s a commercial, save to a flash drive (make sure it works!)
Explain how the advertisers are selling the product
What techniques are they using?
Does this make you want to buy the product?
Do you like this advertisement?
What are the pros and cons of advertising?
Choose a product
Create an in-person advertisement – sell it to the class by presenting it
Describe the benefits and features
Why would the class want to buy it?
Why techniques could you use to sell it?
Why does someone need this product? How does it help his/her life?
