1 2015 Load and Enrolments Summary
Summary analysis provided by the Office of Strategic Planning and Information 3/5/2016. Visit our website for other information, analysis and contact information for support and advice in the use of this analysis.

2 2015 Enrolment Data

3 2015 Enrolment Data Large increase in Business Enrolments (up 7.5%) is accounted for in Melbourne and Sydney study centres (over 1000 extra enrolments). The drop in Education Enrolments (down 6.6%) is accounted for in Full Time, Internal students: No new Ontario enrolments School of Human Movement studies has shifted to Science Faculty.

4 2015 Commencing Enrolment Data

5 2015 Commencing Enrolment Data
Business: Strong increasing trend continuing due to growth in CSU Study Centres Arts: Large increase is due to the ‘University Certificate in Workforce Essentials’, through the School of Policing Studies, a CEP course which currently is not filtered by default. Education: Drop in commencing enrolments is a result of having no new Ontario enrolments, and the School of Human Movement studies moving into the Science Faculty. Science: Increase is a combination of the School of Human Movement Studies inclusion as well as a broad, actual increase in commencing Science enrolments

6 2015 Load Data * Change in load is reflective of change in Internal Enrolments; DE Load is reasonably steady.

7 2015 Load Data - Internal

8 2015 Load Data - DE

9 Load change is described by the same factors discussed under Enrolment change:
- Business up due to Study Centre increases - Education down due to no Ontario commencement, and change of school faculty - Science up due to change of school faculty The load : enrols ratio presents another dimension of the data. Education has dropped due to loss of full time, internal enrolments. Arts has fallen, having seen a slight decrease in load despite a 3% increase in enrolments. This represents a shift towards a higher proportion of DE students in the faculty.

10 Load to Enrol Ratio Represents the average EFTSL contributed by each student by mode of attendance

11 2015 Commencing Load – Broad Course Level
Undergrad - Internal Load is down 6% Postgrad –Internal Load is up 30% (predominantly due to Study Centres)

12 2015 Total Load – Broad Course Level
