Thank you all for attending Meet Your Teacher night last Wednesday evening. I apologize for not having the chance to meet with everyone. We had an amazing turnout. In your child’s folder I have included a parent handbook for pre-k. This handbook has lots of the same important information from that meeting. Please keep this handbook in a safe place for future reference.
Upcoming dates and events
September 3rd – No School Labor Day
September 4th – PTO Meeting in Elementary Library 6 pm to 7 pm
September 11th – Elementary Ice Cream Social – 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm
Miss Perkins
This week we will spend most of our time working on routines, procedures and learning the names of our friends.
We will also practice what to do in case of a fire, inclement weather, and an intruder in the building. We will be practicing these as a class in order to know the proper procedure when practicing with the entire school.
Next week we will hopefully slowly transition into our curriculum.
