4. Project Overview
Widening of North Carpenter Road between Concord Drive and Boston Road
Addition of concrete pavement, curb, and sidewalks throughout the project
Addition of turn lanes on Grafton Road and North Carpenter Road at the Grafton Road intersection
Construction of a new storm sewer system
Traffic signal and signage updates

5. 2019 Construction – Grafton Rd
Construction of the Grafton Road intersection utilizing 2 separate 30 day closures (total of 60 days)
Eastbound traffic will be maintained during each detour phase. Westbound traffic will be detoured during this time.

6. 2019 Construction – North Carpenter Rd
Construction of North Carpenter Rd south of Grafton Road utilizing 2 separate 60 day closures (total of 120 days)
Southbound traffic only will be maintained during this phase from Grafton Road to Concord Drive
Normal traffic pattern will be maintained on North Carpenter Road north of Grafton Road

7. 2020 Construction – North Carpenter Rd
Construction of North Carpenter Rd north of Grafton Road utilizing 2 separate 60 day closures (total of 120 days)
Northbound traffic only will be maintained during this phase from Grafton Road to Boston Road
Normal traffic pattern will be maintained on North Carpenter Road south of Grafton Road

8. General Traffic Overview
Grafton Road will have two, 30-day detours.
Eastbound traffic will be maintained at all times.
Westbound traffic will be detoured.
North Carpenter Road will have two, 120-day detours.
Driveway access will be maintained at all times
Mailbox banks may be used
Side streets may have detours.
Side streets that do not have alternate access routes will have traffic maintained at all times.
