Laaix mauv zinh nyaanh maaih deix mienh leih ninh mbuo sienx nyei jauv ziouc zoux bun ganh zuqc nzauh camv, hnangv maaih nzuqc baqv jienv mba'nziu nor.” (1 Ti^mo^tai 6:10). Because, “For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs.” (1 Timothy 6:10).

(Hebrews 13:5)

7 4."Se gorngv yie longc jiem zoux yie kaux nyei dorngx,

"If I have put my trust in gold or said to pure gold, 'You are my security,' if I have rejoiced over my great wealth, the fortune my hands had gained, …….“then these also would be sins to be judged, for I would have been unfaithful to God on high.” (Job 31:24-28)

8 16 Yesu gorngv,…."Maaih dauh butv-zoih mienh maaih lingh deic longx haic, zuangx duqv ga'naaiv camv. 17 Naaiv dauh butv-zoih mienh hnamv daaih, 'Oix zuqc hnangv haaix nor zoux mv bei? Jesus said,….."The ground of a certain rich man produced a good crop. 17 He thought to himself, 'What shall I do? I have no place to store my crops. 18 "Then he said, 'This is what I'll do. I will tear down my barns and build bigger ones, and there I will store all my grain and my goods.” (Luke 12:16-18) GREETINGS AND THANKS Salutation - As usual, Paul follows the conventional letter format - Identification of sender, identification of recipients, then greetings - Timothy is identified as an associate but not a co-writer - Saints, overseers and deacons - This is the only place where church officers as a group are singled out Thanks for you - “I thank my God every time I remember you.” - Partnership in the Gospel - From the first day until now Completing the work - Paul is confident of God’s progressing work - God will complete the work He began in us - This will go on until we meet Him again Sharing in God’s grace - The Philippian people were in his heart - They had a part of what he did for the Gospel - He longs for them with affection Prayer for growth and righteousness - Growth in love may abound in knowledge and dept of insight - Discernment (what is best, pure, and blameless) - Fruit of righteousness from Jesus

9 19 Ninh aengx hnamv daaih, 'Aa, yie maengc longx haic aqv.
Nyungc-nyungc longx nyei ga'naaiv yie maaih gaux nyanc gaux hopv ziex hnyangx. Meih siou daaih liouh meih ganh longc nyei ga'naaiv, naaiv nzunc oix benx haaix dauh nyei?' " (Lugaa 12:19-20) 19 And I'll say to myself, "You have plenty of good things laid up for many years. Take life easy; eat, drink and be merry."'20 "But God said to him, 'You fool! This very night your life will be demanded from you. Then who will get what you have prepared for yourself?‘ (Luke 12:19-20)

10 21 Yesu aengx gorngv setv mueiz waac, "Haaix dauh kungx oix siou jienv ga'naaiv camv liouh ninh ganh longc, se hnangv wuov dauh butv zoih nyei mienh hngongx mienh nor. Ei Tin-Hungh mangc, ninh se mienh jomc mienh.“ (Lugaa 12:21) "This is how it will be with anyone who stores up things for himself but is not rich toward God.” (Luke 12:21).

Meih mbuo maiv haih dongh dangh zoux Tin-Hungh nyei bou yaac zoux nyaanh nyei bou.” (Lugaa 16:13) 13 "No servant can serve two masters. Either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and Money.“ (Luke 16:13)
