One area of the territory should be assigned to two students: one will canvass the odd numbers (one side of the street) while the other will canvass the even numbers (the other side of the street)

At the end of the day before going back to the lodging facility, the “student pair” should get together to agree where they would start to canvass in the next day. This will avoid losing time in the next day
When a “student pair” finishes canvassing in their area too fast, the leader can ask them to switch sides: the one who canvassed in the odd numbers will work on the even numbers and vice-versa.
Before assigning a new area to a “student pair” that is asking for more territory, the leader should go out with the students involved to verify if the students have worked the previous assigned territory properly
