Body parts and cells can only function within certain internal conditions.
The body’s ability to maintain a stable internal environment is called homeostasis.

How does your body stay at regulated temperature?
Homeostatic Mechanisms:
Receptors – Send info to CNS about changing conditions.
Set Point – what a particular value should be.
Effectors – cause responses to return to set point.
