Line Plot A.K.A. Dot Plot Line Plot: Line Plots have two advantages: You can see is created by placing a mark (usually a dot or an x) above a number line corresponding to the location of each data item. Example #1 Twelve students in a math class have the following quiz scores: 75, 70, 75, 80, 85, 80, 90, 90, 85, 70, 80, Create a line plot for the data by putting an X above the number line to represent each data point. the frequency (number of times) a data item occurs. how the data items compare.
