(A) Standard thoracoscopic minimally invasive Scanlan DeBakey Cooley forceps ( , Scanlan International, Saint Paul, MN) with a modified head to decrease the normal 90° “right angle” of the jaws to only 40°. (B) The modified head allows easy grasping of the anvil with an improved orientation.
