So, where are we at?
We beleive that we have taken active part in the evolution process.
We have tried to make people engaged in the process – but it has taken so (too) many years…! (Will there ever be a standard?)
We have difficulties in understanding how to use and not to use the standards. Nobody seems to know!
We have difficulties in getting funding for translation!

The pragmatic solution…
No obligation for CE-marking of construction products in Sweden.
The Swedish public clients (Road Administration etc) do purchase works and not construction products (with few exceptions)
Requirements are generally put on the finished work (layer) on the road not on constituents!
So let´s make it as easy as possible –
not overdoing our ”home work”!

european standards if available (1998:78)
but…
The new Act on Public Procurement PPD 2004/18/EG
(2005:22) opens up for new solutions
