1 Night Supervisor ~ DARTINGTON To provide excellent customer service to all Dartington Hall guests, leading by example to ensure our visitors have a pleasant, safe and satisfying experience. SOME OF THE MAIN THINGS YOU’LL BE DOING: Act as a point of contact for all visitors to Dartington Hall, ensuring consistently warm, professional, and excellent customer service. Assisting guests with all queries throughout the night. Operate as Fire Warden, Duty Manager and as host to assist with guest experience. We require somebody who is proactive, able to multitask under pressure, and show initiative with a commitment to excellent customer service. Support the Food & Beverage Supervisors during late night events with all Front of House Operations within the White Hart Bar and Restaurant, Roundhouse Café, Conferences, Events and Weddings. Accurate processing of all Reception, Front of house and End of day duties. Including Till reconciliation for White Hart and Roundhouse. Responsible for the security/safety of the buildings and ensuring a safe, healthy and secure environment for both staff and guests during the overnight period. To ensure a good working relationship and excellent levels of communication with all other departments. Bring a desire and commitment to be part of a hard working team in line with the ethics and values of The Dartington Hall Trust, acting in the best interests of Dartington at all times. Our Department is open 365 days a year and shifts may vary. We will require you to be flexible and able to work a variety of shifts and over holiday periods. ROLE DETAILS: DEPARTMENT: Dartington Hall REPORTING TO: Guest Services & Revenue Manager WHAT YOU WILL BRING: Professional telephone manor and Efficient ICT Skills, including Microsoft Office, Booking Systems. Excellent communication & Interpersonal skills. Passion and Drive for maintaining a convivial atmosphere, encouraging repeat custom. Creative problem solving skills, the ability to calmly and effectively trouble-shoot. A current First aid at work certificate would be desirable. A positive can do attitude and a willingness and desire to undertake further training, to ensure all who come into contact with Dartington have the best possible experience. Courteousness and the ability to engage with customers and colleagues and to do what’s needed to provide excellent customer service towards all internal and external customers. Draft August 2016
