4 - Subtracting Subtract the numerators 4/5- 3/5=1
2. Keep the denominators the same 4/5-3/5=1/5 -

5 x Multiplying Multiply the numerators. 5/7x3/7=15
2. Multiply the denominators. 5/7x3/7=15/49 3. Simplify if needed x

6 ÷ Dividing 1. Flip the last fraction 2/3÷3/4 2/3x4/3
2. Change the ÷ to a x sign 3. Now multiply and you get… 2/3x4/3=8/9 ÷

7 Decimals Add Subtract Multiply Divide (long division)

8 + Adding Line your decimals up 12.65 Add 16.90
Add Remember to bring down your decimal +

9 - Subtracting Line your decimals up 20.65 Subtract -18.65 2.00
3. Remember to bring down your decimal -

10 x Multiplying 360 now becomes 3.60
Multiply the 2 numbers disregarding the decimals 2.4 x 2.5 120 +240 360 Now, move the decimal in your new number, over by the same number of digits as are on the numbers you multiplied 360 now becomes 3.60 x
