2 PART I – PRESENTATION - WORTH 10% OF FINAL MARK
You will individually present your key learnings as a business leader in this course. In your presentations, you will cite examples from your specific project-based experiences in this course. You may choose to either create a PowerPoint presentation or use the Leader’s Script to format your presentation.

3 PART I – WORTH 10% OF FINAL MARK
In your presentations you will include a discussion about what you learned in terms of the following areas with references to current research on the topics: Leadership – what type of leader are you – how did you determine this? Management – what did you learn about yourself as a manager? Team dynamics – how well do you work in teams? What typical role do you take on? Conflict and Stress management – how do you deal with these? Planning – why is planning so important to the success of a business? Motivation – how does motivation play a role in what you have done in this class? Personality – discuss your personality type and how this impacted you in this course Business Attire is required for these presentations. Presentations should be no longer than minutes.

Reflective Essay – What I learned about being a business leader in this course This is an individual project You will write a five paragraph reflective essay with a thesis on what you learned in this course about being a manager and business leader

6 Details for the reflective essay
Modified MLA format (1 inch margins, double spaced, 12 point font) You can use personal pronouns because this essay is about you and what you learned Your essay needs a thesis statement (what you are going to prove that you learned in this course) Your essay needs to include references to what we studied in the course. Although not required, any additional citations need to be included in parentheses with the author and page number. A works cited page should be included as well in this case. Your essay will be five paragraphs in length (approximately 1000 words).

8 Sample reflective thesis statement (2 parts)
Thesis (what you are going to prove) The Business Leadership course has been an informative and educational experience for me. I have learned and discovered my leadership strengths, developed teamwork skills, and formed an understanding of how I deal with stress and conflict in a business environment. Three arguments (each body paragraph will focus on one of these)
