2 King Charles X of France

3 Charles X (Charles Philippe; 9 October 1757 – 6 November 1836) is commonly known for being the Count of Artois before he reigned as King of France and of Navarre. He reigned from 16 September until 2 August He was an uncle of the uncrowned King Louis XVII, and also a brother to reigning Kings Louis XVI and Louis XVIII. He supported Louis XVIII during his exile, and then succeeded him. His rule ended in the July Revolution of 1830 after six years. This event resulted in his abdication and the election of Louis Philippe, Duke of Orléans, as King of the French. After his second exile, Charles died in Gorizia. He was the last of the French rulers from the senior branch of the House of Bourbon descended from King Henry IV.

7 Catherine the Great, ( ) the Empress of Russia, who reigned 1762–1796 She became empress after her husband (Peter III) was deposed. She then formed alliances with Prussia and Austria. This resulted in territorial advances at the expense of the Turks and Tartars.
