6 Get the Big Picture Analyze trends and look for red flags Generate OIG Report in SMART FACTS for 2011 and enter outcomes onto worksheet Review published 2010 OIG Report and enter outcomes onto worksheet 6

7 Analyze Trends Do your complex issues & referrals outcomes look right? – Are they logical, based on your knowledge of work done by your SMP? – Are there drastic increases or decreases compared to last year? – If so, are you prepared to explain drastic increases or decreases to AoA, CMS, and the OIG? 7
