HDACi ( Histone deacetylases inhibitors) or RG2833 by Repligen is a drug that is found to be well- tolerated and also appears to increase frataxin gene activity
EPI-743 is a drug from Edison Pharmaceuticals that can show improvement in all diseases where mitochondrial dysfunction is implicated and FA is one of them.

Firstly, we all would like to request the government of India to relax the restrictions put on drug trials and therapies
Secondly we would like to request the researchers of India and abroad to collaborate and initiate the drug trials in India too, specifically the one’s that are on Phase III
Thirdly, almost every one of us would like to volunteer for the drug trials and stem cell therapy and therefore would want these to be started as soon as possible without wasting time
