3 How to Log-in Go to www.esped.com Member log-in =
Username = your district address Password = should be provided to you through You will be asked to change your password. For future changes: Go to “My Profile” on the Home Screen to change the password

Applications Admin Admin ARD Reports Document Archive Manager ARD Forms eStar Docs Progress Reports (update every 9 weeks) Logout, My Profile, eSped Support, List Webinars at top News (box in middle of screen) – check here for announcements, updates, and information from Special Services

7 Student Search & Status
The Student Search Screen allows you to search through the students to which you have access SPED Status Currently Served Record Status Active Draft (** if you see that a DRAFT record exists for the student, you MUST work in the DRAFT record.

9 Application Screen Navigation
When you click on ARD forms (or other applications) and then a students name you will be directed to the FERPA screen FERPA (Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act) Reason Selection You must select a FERPA reason These selections are recorded & tracked, so always choose an appropriate reason Student Information Imported directly from eSchool Enter your name for your case management students on the bottom of this screen

12 Application Navigation
Navigate through the screens by using the ‘Screen:’ drop-down menu, Next, and Previous The Save, Next, and Previous buttons will save any changes to the information entered The Reports and Print/Archive buttons open sub-applications to generate reports and archive reports The Students button takes you back to the Student Search Screen The Preview button allows you to view a preview of whichever report corresponds with the page

Blue Arrow Links – link you to other screens or applications (you can click return tab when wanting to return to original screen) Types of Data Input Fields: Open Text Field Menu Selection Field Calendar Selection Field Add New Notes box (rich text…looks like paper icon… when grey, something is typed in it, when white it is blank) Input Field Check Box Radio Selection (Yes, No, Clear)

14 You can preview, print or email documents from this screen as well.
Print/Archive After completing progress reports, you will need to archive them. If you do not archive them, they will be lost when a new annual ARD is completed. You can preview, print or documents from this screen as well.

15 Print/Archive How To: Click Print/Archive button
Select what you want to archive, print or (ie: progress reports, Full ARD goals/objectives, BIP, etc.) If you want to someone a password protected copy, click the box next to “mail the document” and then fill in their address. Ask your mentor for the default password. Once you click print draft copy or final copy it will .

16 Print/Archive How To Continued:
Click “Print Draft Copy” if you want the documents watermarked “Draft” (this is helpful for sending home goals and objectives prior to the ARD) or “Print Final Copy” when printing finalized documents or when archiving. Document will open in PDF file alongside in a new screen that will ask if you would like to archive You can then print or the document Click Archive for completed progress reports or Do Not Archive button if just printing, viewing or ing.

18 Archive Manager Archive Manager allows you to see all the documents archived for the student. This is an “electronic file cabinet.” All progress reports, ARDs, Evaluations, Notices, etc. will be here (once completed and archived) and can be viewed or printed.

19 Screens to Complete -Development of IEP/Transition
Complete ALL Present Levels Transition Services and Graduation supplement ( when appropriate ) -Measurable Annual Goals -Modifications/Accommodations -Depending on Student - Personal Care Supplement and ESY Supplement - Be prepared to provide diagnostician recommendations for schedule pages (course curriculum, services and supports) and STAAR results and recommendations -Progress Reports -Contact Log
