3. Did you know ? In 1877 The first hockey rules were invented.
In 1888 The first Amateur league involved teams from Montreal, Ottawa and Quebec City.
Also in 1889 Fredrick Author donated a trophy to be the Dominion Hockey Challenge Cup. Also to be known as The Stanley Cup.

4. How Does It Work?
There are two conferences, the Eastern Conference and The Western Conference.
There are 2 Defensemen, 3 Forwards and one goalie on the ice.
Most teams have four lines, three sets of Defensemen and two goalies.
There are fifteen teams in each conference.
