2 UNICEF Crisis Response
Every year, UNICEF responds to over 250 emergencies, offering food, water, shelter, protection, and health care whenever a crisis arises UNICEF humanitarian efforts also give contributions to address underlying causes of vulnerability to disasters and conflict

3 UNICEF Action Plan UNICEF employs over 11,000 staff worldwide at 350 warehouses globally with strategic transit hubs that stand ready to provide both immediate/long-term necessities — food, water, shelter, protection and physical as well as mental health care. UNICEF also works to reunite children with family and provides care for those who are orphaned. UNICEF is a global leader in emergency response, last year reaching children in 344 humanitarian emergencies across 108 countries.
