2 Who are Housing Hand? Established in 2013 in response to the rising problem experienced by students and working professionals, who were/are not able to provide a UK-based guarantor to secure their accommodation. To date, we have processed over 70,000 applications, from more than 100 countries worldwide. Tailored, bespoke working relationships with all our partners including Universities, Private Halls, Letting Agents, Relocation Agencies who are using our service.

3 What we do? Housing Hand stand as a guarantor for students and working professionals, from both the UK and Overseas who are unable to provide a qualified UK based guarantor or fail their reference. A process identical to using an individual guarantor, we sign your Shorthold Tenancy Agreement and Guarantor Deed/Form. Consequently we will cover the full rent, damages in excess of the deposit, and dilapidations. There is no charge to the Agent or Landlord as the tenant pays for our service. Complimentary leads of prospective tenants who are looking for accommodation via our Agent Finder Service. We passed on over 13,000 tenants across the UK last year.

4 How we do it? Housing Hand is underwritten by an exclusive, Financial Liability Insurance Policy with Brit Insurance -an A (Excellent) rated insurance company-. Therefore, any risk of liability arising by signing the guarantor deed is fully insured. When a tenant defaults on their rental payment, Housing Hand will pay within 28 days upon receipt of a notification and invoice for the relevant month. Our Credit Control Department initially contact the tenant and encourage them to clear their default. If unsuccessful, Housing Hand pay the default whilst continuing to work with the tenant to find a solution, such as an interest free repayment plan.

5 Who we work with? More than letting agents and landlords across the UK and Republic of Ireland. 80% of purpose built student accommodations (PBSAs) nationwide. 100+ higher education institutions. The majority of universities provide information about our service on their website, accommodation, international and welfare offices. 400+ overseas education agencies and relocation companies
