3 Waiver Update Updates from CMS
May amend RHP after initial submission; by 10/1/13 for year 3. Not clear if an entity may begin to participate in later years. DSRIP funds for year 1 will be allocated for anchor administrative costs and DSRIP providers HMA (Dianne): Please confirm this slide. This was all verbally relayed.

4 RHP Regions HHSC released a 2nd draft of the map
Map based on comments received from stakeholders RHP should reflect patient flow and geography Comments due no later than April 24 Map will be finalized May 1 Participation is voluntary, but failure to participate will prevent entities from receiving UC or DSRIP pool funds

7 RHP Plan Components New draft RHP plan template released
RHP plans must contain: RHP organization – Anchor, IGT entities, Performing providers, other stakeholders Overview section – goals, environment, summary of plan, identification of region Community needs assessment Stakeholder engagement – participants and public DSRIP Projects Plan

8 DSRIP Project Plan must contain
Category Project/Intervention Performing provider Description of intervention Goal Expected outcome Baseline data for intervention (patients served, percent of providers in intervention, number of encounters) Inter-related projects in DSRIP plan Table outlining: milestones, metrics, estimated DSRIP funding; estimated state match.

9 DSRIP Menu of Projects Draft State DSRIP menu of project options released April 5. Categories 1 (Infrastructure development) and 2 (Program innovation/redesign) – may choose within each category, projects not mandatory, pay for performance (must meet metrics to get paid). Inpatient or outpatient. Category 3 (Quality improvement)– Some items will be mandatory; others may be selected; participants are paid for reporting initially, then paid for performance (must meet metrics to get paid). Inpatient focused. Category 4 – (Population-focused improvement) – No choice of projects; must report on all; participants paid for reporting only. Inpatient focused.

10 Next steps for State on DSRIP
Comments on State-proposed DSRIP menu are due April 23. State DSRIP menu on state website for details. DSRIP policies still not decided: Required Category 3 interventions Requirements for project distribution, number and reporting of projects and milestones Project values
