English Language Arts (3rd-5th grades) Selected Response (multiple choice) Constructed Response (short answer) Extended Response (writing a response) In Section 3 (ELA) students will read two passages and then answer questions: Comparing/contrasting passages Using a writing prompt to cite evidence to support their conclusions

9 Final tips… Get up in time to have a stress-free morning.
Be at school on time during testing days. Eat a nutritious breakfast w/ some protein. Have positive, encouraging talks each morning. Try your best! Take your time! Don’t stress students out over the test. Remember… your child’s teacher has FULLY prepared them to be successful!!
