(A) Quantitative PCR-based mean threshold cycles (CT) from a 96-plex reaction were analyzed on samples with known numbers of cells (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 10, 15, and 20) from a cultured cell line. (B) A standard curve was established, based on the cell number and average CT value. This curve was used to estimate the relative DNA content of each biopsy.
