1 Lack of sleep disturbance from menopausal hot flashes
Robert R Freedman, Ph.D.,, Timothy A Roehrs, Ph.D.  Fertility and Sterility  Volume 82, Issue 1, Pages (July 2004) DOI: /j.fertnstert

2 FIGURE 1 (A) A hot flash, indicated by a large increase in skin conductance, a measure of sweating. The hot flash continues for 90 seconds after this page. No arousal occurs, evidenced by maintenance of stage 2 electroencephalogram (EEG). Undulation of the EEG baseline in channel 4 is due to sweating on the scalp. (B) An arousal is indicated by chin electromyogram (EMG) activity and movement artifact in all other channels. No hot flash occurs, shown by no change in skin conductance activity. Freedman. No sleep disturbance from hot flashes. Fertil Steril 2004. Fertility and Sterility  , DOI: ( /j.fertnstert )
