The Polish education system is based on three-tired principle (primary, secondary and higher education). Compulsory schooling in Poland begins when children are 7-years old, although pre-school nurseries and kindergartens are available for children to enter the schooling system at an earlier stage.
Compulsory schooling ends when children reach the age of 17.

5. Primary school
is an institution where children receive their first stage of compulsory education known as primary or elementary education.
The present education system in Poland was introduced in 1998/1999.
In Poland children attend primary school from the age of 7 -12

Is a type of school providing lower secondary education
In Poland pupils attend secondary school at the age of and after passing the final exam they go to high school.

7. High School
Is an upper secondary school where young people stay for 3 years. The school prepares students to go to university. At the end of high school students pass the exam called „matura” (3 compulsory subjects, 1-3 optional subjects).
Some pupils after secondary school go to technicum where they have electronics, mechanics…
