„Tell me and I’ll forget; Show me and I may remember; Involve me and I’ll understand” Chinese proverbs The Polish education system is based on three-tired principle (primary, secondary and higher education). Compulsory schooling in Poland begins when children are 7-years old, although pre-school nurseries and kindergartens are available for children to enter the schooling system at an earlier stage. Compulsory schooling ends when children reach the age of 17.

5 Primary school is an institution where children receive their first stage of compulsory education known as primary or elementary education. The present education system in Poland was introduced in 1998/1999. In Poland children attend primary school from the age of 7 -12

6 Secondary school Is a type of school providing lower secondary education In Poland pupils attend secondary school at the age of and after passing the final exam they go to high school. Nazareth

7 High School Is an upper secondary school where young people stay for 3 years. The school prepares students to go to university. At the end of high school students pass the exam called „matura” (3 compulsory subjects, 1-3 optional subjects). Some pupils after secondary school go to technicum where they have electronics, mechanics…
