3. Step 1 - insert batteries

4. Step 2 - fit battery carrier to belt

5. Step 3 - connect lead to air breather

6. Step 4 - screw retaining nut fully home

7. Step 5 - remove protective cap from filter

8. Step 6 - fit filters to air breather

10. Step 7 - ensure braces are attached

11. Step 8 - roll outer legs up suit

13. Step 9 - don suit

14. Step 10 - roll outer legs down over protective boots

15. Step 11 - ensure suit is correctly fastened

16. Step 12 - put on belt & tighten

17. Step 13 - switch on breather unit. The unit will sound a warning

18. Step 14 - Put on hood

19. Step 15 - Place hood chin first

20. Step 16 - Connect air tube

21. Step 17 - Connect hood retaining straps under arm

22. Step 18 - Put on inner gloves

23. Step 19 - Roll up outer sleeve

24. Step 20 - Put on outer glove

25. Step 21 - Roll down outer sleeve over glove

26. Step 22 - Check each other front and back

27. Step 23 - Place tabard over suit
