The Chicago Healthcare System Coalition for Preparedness and Response (CHSCPR) will offer a 2-day course for those of you who would like to obtain your Technician Class (entry level) Amateur Radio license. To earn the license it requires passing an examination on radio theory, regulations and operating practices. The license gives access to most Amateur Radio frequencies above 30 megahertz, allowing you the ability to communicate locally and most often within North America.
