TTPC characteristics
Topology Generic: It operates distributed and can handle IBSSs as well as BSS. TPC for IBSS is easy to adapt to BSS, but not vice versa.
Based on legacy channel access scheme DCF is the basic channel access mechanism of DCF is widely deployed.

Reuse efficient: OL-TPC: Acquiring sufficient floor, not more -not less. CL:TPC: Minimizes used transmit power and generated Interference. Enables adaptation to instantaneous local interference situation. Tiering: Strive to optimize C/I.
Low energy consumption. Low OH:The TPC scheme as such does not waste energy. CL-TPC: Precision and speed for control. OL-TPC: Exploits sleep mode opportunities. No extra power up occasions. Tiering: Bulk traffic exploits aggressive TPC.

3 dB Mitigation Proposed TPC scheme ensures that a algorithm for a 3 dB mitigation factor can be implemented. (Algorithm shall ensure that max transmit power can be used occasionally)
Integrated view TPC-Channel Access In the design, particular care has been taken to ensure that the proposed scheme integrates in accordance to how operates. It is believed that it is important to understand how the Channel Access scheme and TPC interact. Therefore, not just frame formats, but also frame exchange sequences with its media interaction have been shown. Remember that TPC will always interact with the channel access scheme disregarding distributed or centralized operation.
