4 Trig parenthesis Placement of the power Invaders Chapter 2.4
The Chain Rule (Trig) 4.4 Students derive derivative formulas and use them to find the derivatives of algebraic, trigonometric, inverse trigonometric, exponential, and logarithmic functions. 5.0 Students know the chain rule and its proof and applications to the calculation of the derivative of a variety of composite functions. Invaders Trig parenthesis Parenthesis protect your “angle” and protect it from any invaders. They act like castle walls defining your angle. If there aren’t any invaders then the castle walls are not necessary. (Trig cannot exist without an argument, so if there is only one thing written after the trig, then it must be the angle and does not need defined) Placement of the power The placement of the power on trig determines the order of operations Tuesday, April 23, 2019 ESLR -Tracy High Graduates will be Independent Learners Who Set realistic and challenging goals
