2 Eventing Officials The FEI has the responsibility to ensure that all Officials are up to the highest possible standard so that the level of expertise continues to improve.

3 Eventing Officials – some facts
In 2017, 7 courses for Judges, TDs and CDs took place; one courses was dedicated to CDs through the GEP, totalising 133 officials. The FEI received 43 applications for transfer for 2018 (61 for 2017) : 67% (vs 73%) were approved, 41 % (vs 54%) on a provisional basis – providing further officiating experiences and/or evaluations. These situations/status will be reviewed at year end. In 2018, 25 Officials were withdrawn from FEI List as they were not complying with the requirements of their function.

7 For Level 2 Transfer National Judge Please remember
To be listed as a National approved Dressage Judge in own country To have some experience in Course evaluation & knowledge in Eventing Risk Management, dispute resolution and disciplinary matters. 2 years minimum regular practice as National Judge To be not more than 70years of age To understand and speak English Have attended a Level 1 course National Judge Member of GJ or Pdt GJ at 2 CICs or CCI To be familiar with the Training Scale as per Rules for Dressage Have received a positive assessment at FEI level 2 course Have provided assessments (up to 2) from Senior Official of different nationality from acting as member of GJ at FEI International Events Please remember

8 For Level 3 Transfer Level 2 Judge
To be nationally certified at Advanced or equivalent level, experience in judging PSG Dressage incl.collection and extension in walk, trot & canter, single changes, half passes and shoulder in. To be proficient and practised in Course evaluation, with a working knowledge of Eventing Risk Management, dispute resolution and disciplinary matters. To be not more than 70years of age To understand and speak English Level 2 Judge To have judged at both national and int’l Events, with min. of 4 int’l Events of which at least one must be a Long Format Competition, and one must be outside of own country during current or preceding two years. Have received a positive assessment at FEI level 2 course, for promotion to Level 3 Have provided assessments from Level 3 Judges of different nationality, approved by FEI, from acting as GJ member at FEI International 3*/4* Events

9 For Level 2 Transfer National Technical Delegate Please remember
3 years minimum regular practice as National TD To have gained experience as TD at all levels of Short/Long Format Competitions. This should include working within an OC and as assistant to Course Designer. To be not more than 70years of age To understand English Have attended a Level 1 course National Technical Delegate To have served as an Assistant to Level 3 TD at minimum one CCI Have received a positive assessment at FEI level 2 course Have provided assessments (up to 2) from Senior Official of different nationality from acting as Assistant at FEI International Events Please remember

10 For Level 3 Transfer Level 2 TD
Officiating at minimum 2 international Competitions during the current or preceding year – one must be Long Format, and one must be outside of own country. To be not more than 70years of age To understand and speak English Level 2 TD Have received a positive assessment at FEI level 2 course for promotion to 3&4 star level Have provided assessments from Level 3 TD of different nationality, approved by the FEI, from acting as Assistant TD at FEI International 3*/4* Events

11 For Level 2 Transfer National Course Designer Please remember
3 years minimum regular practice as National CD To have gained experience as Course Designer at Short and Long Format Competitions. To be not more than 70years of age To understand English Have attended a Level 1 course National Course Designer To have received a positive assessment at FEI level 2 course Have provided assessments (up to 2) from Senior Official (if not CD, then TD & Pdt GJ) of different nationality from acting as Assistant CD (or CD) at FEI International Events Please remember

12 For Level 3 Transfer Level 2 CD
To have acted as CD at 2 int’l Events, of which one must be a Long format Have received a positive assessment at FEI level 2 course for promotion to Level 3. To be not more than 70years of age To understand and speak English Level 2 CD Have provided 2 assessments from Senior Official of different nationality (TD, CD and GJ Pdt), approved by the FEI, from acting as Assistant at FEI International Events

13 Please remember As an FEI Eventing Official, requirements to be maintained on the list are fulfilled for each: With regular officiating With regular course participation Or transfer Or withdrawn from FEI list
