4 Present situation… IVCF is in existence for over 50 years now Almost every year were spending recurring camps and conferences expenses Every year were having 6 camps and 2 conferences Last school year the needed subsidy was Php 416,000 - $ 8,000 Its a recurring cost…recurring issue…begging every year!

5 Addressing this issue… We need our own campsite We need a place for our trainings We need to raise funds We need sustainable activities We need to be good stewards of what God has entrusted to us

7 Campsite Development Process Involving IVCF constituents to a participatory and consultative process where needs and wishes (dreams) for the campsite were expressed and discussed Translated to infrastructure development by professional designers and site development consultant (volunteer IVCF graduates) Drawn and executed by young designers (IVCF graduates and students) Starting Small while Dreaming Big…

9 Setting a Target The project is the development of a 4.94 acres of land intended for a conference site in San Miguel, Bulacan Over-all concept of Contemporary Asian Tropical design The primary users are the Staffworkers, ISCF/IVCF Students and Graduates The secondary users are Christian families, Churches and Christian groups, Government agencies and their constituents Development will insure that the campsite will be sustainable.

12 Session Hall (Balikatan Hall) Construction will be in three phases Phase 1 will be a session hall for 150 persons Phase 2 will be an additional 150 seats and conference rooms Phase 3 will be an additional 200 seats, hallway/gallery and administration office

13 Parking/Recreation Area Basketball and volleyball court Parking for tour buses and private cars Two exit points; entrance gate and the service gate

15 Estimated Cost Residence hall $ 200,000 Session hall (Phase 1) $ 109,000 Parking/Recreation $ 55,000 Utilities $ 73,000 Total Cost: US$437, 000

16 Future Campsite Developments Conference hall for 500 persons Mess hall for 500 persons / also serves as multi- purpose hall Three additional residence hall Library / Audio- visual room Cottages and Row houses Amphitheater Swimming pool with mini-Gym Chapel Recreation and Tent area

17 Fundraising Schemes Adopt a campsite tree project ($1 per seedling) Individual/group sponsoring a tree for a fee Adopt a campsite hall, room, cottage, etc. (e.g. Balikatan Hall) Sponsoring a campsite structure by alumni or KC batches Challenge individual donor or IVCF friends Challenge financial institutions with same visions Matching Grants (1:2) (e.g. $1 donation local : $2 donation abroad)

18 Thank you so much.. From the time IVCF lost the Murcia campsite called Kawayan Campus, IVCF has been renting expensive campsites. The IVCF Staff, students and alumni long for our own campsite. Help us make this dream a reality
