His disciples began questioning Him as to what this parable meant.10 And He said, " To you it has been granted to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God, but to the rest it is in parables, so that “seeing they may not see, and hearing they may not understand.”

11. II. Let us consider the
parable of the lost
sheep.

12. Context :
Luke 15: 1
Now all the tax collectors and the sinners were coming near Him to listen to Him. 2 Both the Pharisees and the scribes began to grumble, saying, "This man receives sinners and eats with them."

13. Premise :
John 17:14
I have given them Your word; and the world has hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world I do not ask You to take them out of the world, but to keep them from the evil one They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world 17 sanctify them in the truth; your word is truth.

All of us like sheep have gone astray, each of us has turned to his own way; But the Lord has caused the iniquity of us all to fall on Him

The coin was lost all of a sudden as a result of the actions of another.

Like newborn babies, long for the pure milk of the word, so that by it you may grow in respect to salvation,
