Questionnaire, first results Majority of responses - no changes required Of those proposing changes there were some common themes but also some very different/conflicting proposals. Common issues: Need for recognition of the EQS Directive and priority substances (Annex I/II) Difficulties with definition of ‘relevant metabolites’ of pesticides (Annex I) The role of the minimum TV list (Annex II) Divergent views: Annex II – minimum list of pollutants Source: Rob Ward presentation at WG C Meeting Budapest 04/2011

WG C Activity 2: The following schedule was agreed: 13 May 2011: Deadline for additional comments and completed questionnaires. May–August 2011: Analysis of questionnaire and feedback to responders. Development of recommendations and report. September 2011: Circulation of draft report to WG C October 2011: Presentation to WG C (Poland) November 2011: SCG and Water Directors 2012: Stakeholder workshop Next WG C meeting: 12th/13th October 2011 in Warsaw, Poland 12th October: whole day meeting on ‘Groundwater and Climate Change’ and 13th October: plenary meeting
