2 May 2006 Remaining comments addressing the CSS coexisting information ( a) CID 136 Accept in principle: Stay with the 1% duty cyle but add that “Under certain conditions duty cycle can go up to 10%“ CID 139 Accept in principle. Add more information on this. Reasonable numbers for 11b/g are: 1500 bytes, 50% duty cycle (b:5.5Mbs, g:22Mps) CID 140 Accept in principle.The analysis between BT and CSS will be revised under the assumption that both systems arw fast hoppers and/or assuming a duty cycle of 50% for BT. May 2006 CID 35 Comment: PPDU format For UWB the format is given in octets while for CSS it is given in symbols.Neither one shows the the format on bit level. So it is unclear if all bits are used or where are reserved bits Suggested remedy: Show the PPDUs for both PHYs in bit allocation and add a reference to a clause which explains how bits and octets are mapped to symbols.
