Bannerman High School S1 CHAMPIONS LEAGUE FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT. 8 players will be chosen to represent their house in a five a side football tournament. Each team will be given a bib which is the same colour as their house, that will then correspond to a team in the champions league. Young ambassadors will visit S1 tutor classes on Tuesday 26th February to give sign up sheets for the tournament. The tournament will last a week starting 11th March-15th March. Bannerman High School DANCE TRIP TO LONDON. There will be an important meeting on today 25th Feb at interval in the dance studio for all pupils attending this years dance trip to London. Thanks Mrs Callaghan. S3 BOYS FOOTBALL TEAM. Can all players attend a meeting in Gym 2 at morning interval on Monday please. Thanks, Mr Douglas. Respect Responsibility Ambition

Easter Concert - Tuesday 12th 7pm in the Workshop Theatre. Tickets will be on sale soon from the Music Department. £4 per ticket. Please come along and support all of our hard working musicians! If anyone has any raffle prizes they could donate we'd be very appreciative. Orchestra - Tuesdays after school in the Workshop Theatre. Woodwind Group -  Friday lunchtimes in Music Room 1. 12 Bannerman High School FOODBANK SPRING COLLECTION. The Foodbank Team, in Partnership with the Glasgow North East Foodbank would like to thank all of the Bannerman High School Pupils and Staff for their generous support with the 2018 Christmas Collection. We will be launching our spring collection that will start on Monday 4th March until Friday 29th March. Members of the Foodbank team will be visiting Tutor classes to deliver new barometers to track and chat to pupils about the partnership. Assemblies will be delivered to S2 pupils on the week beginning the 4th March to mark the start of our Easter collection. If any staff or pupils will like to get involved in volunteering visits, sourcing donations or helping others learn about the work of foodbanks then please get in touch with Miss Mulholland or Mr Boyle. The items we are looking for to deliver to the Foodbank in Parkhead are: Telford - Tinned Fish Mackintosh - Fruit Juice Wallace - Tinned Fruit Burns - Long Life Milk Napier - Cereal Livingstone - Sugar

IMMUNISATION PROGRAMME- IMPORTANT NOTICE Tuesday 19th March 2019 DTP/MenACWY Boys & Girls S3 (S4-S6 Catch up) HPV - Girls (S1-S6 Catch up) MMR –Boys & Girls (S1-S2 Catch up) These will be taking place in the Staffroom and involves all S3 pupils and some S1/S2/S4/S5/S6 pupils. All S3 pupils have been issued with documentation for the S3 DTP/MenACWY vaccinations via their tutor class. All DTP/MenACWY catch up pupils will be notified via tutor once this information has been received by the school. Pupil who have missed their HPV or MMR vaccination should make their way to the staffroom at the allocated time below. As you will see the vaccination programme has increased greatly over the last few years with the introduction of new vaccines and the primary method of delivery is through schools. To limit disruption to learning and teaching they are trying to limit these to two visits per year which will include the main vaccination programme and catch up. Thank you for your assistance and support with this very important event.
