8. Job Shadow Requirements
Must be at least 4 hours long
In person, at a work site
Can be with a family member (1)
Can be excused from school
(1 day per year)
Notify the DREAMS office a week
before going

9. Day of Job Shadow Dress professionally, be on time, and be interested!
Take the reflection questions with you and take notes
Have the employer sign the attendance form & log the number of hours attended

In order for the job shadow to count, you must turn in the attendance form to the DREAMS OFFICE and it must have:
the signature of the person you shadowed
the number of hours completed
your parent or guardian’s signature

11. After the Shadow Reflection Thank You Letter
Complete the reflection based on the information you received on the job shadow
Forms are on Naviance, upload and wait for feedback
Thank You Letter
Write a thank you letter to the employer

Upload and wait for feedback
