Objectives: - To know the reasons why Sinn Fein rose to prominence. To be able to evaluate sources using NOPA. Outcomes: - C grade – will be able to explain the content of a range of contemporary sources. B grade – will be able to analyse the strength of the the evidence. A grade – will be able to reach a substantiated conclusion to an enquiry question focusing on the strength of the evidence presented. Differentiated learning : - Differentiation by task in main activity and plenary. Literacy: - Students use the three triangles – critical evaluation, sources and openers to fund their analysis. They can also add extra openers to their red triangle. SMSC: - Cultural – understanding how Sinn Fein rose and used key messages to do so. Morality of the actions of Sinn Fein.

Remember that your analysis needs to think about the sources in their historical context.
