9. Kristen Kaufman
Kristen Kaufman has been chosen as our 2019 Emory Student Employee of the Year. Kristen is a senior at the Emory College of Arts and Sciences. She is employed as a Zero-Landfill Waste Intern for the Office of Sustainability Initiatives. Kristen has proved to be an invaluable member in the department of Sustainability Initiatives because of her hard work and resourcefulness. To quote her supervisor, Taylor Spicer, “Kristen is an extraordinary student and person, whose inquisitive nature guides her through her studies and work and makes her a more thoughtful and eloquent voice for the issues about which she cares.”
