Unenhanced chest CT scan in the coronal plane through the right upper lobe bronchus, which shows mild irregularities of apical segmental bronchus lumen before insertion of endobronchial coils (A). Three and a half years after endobronchial coils insertion, moderate focal bronchiectasis is seen at the site of one of the coils (arrow), whose proximal tip is in the dilated bronchus in pulmonary window (B) and mediastinal window (C).

Unenhanced chest CT scan in the coronal plane through the left lower lobe before (A), 6 months (B), and 3.5 years (C) following the first endobronchial coil insertion. An axial cut of the left lower lobe 3.5 years after the first coil insertion is also shown (D). Mild focal distal bronchiectasis is seen at 6 months (B) in a bronchus that appeared normal before endobronchial treatment (A). Bronchial dilatation is cystic at the site of the proximal tip of the coil (C, D). This is well depicted using the maximum intensity projection (E).
