4 Vocabulary Undefined term - a basic mathematical term that is not defined using other mathematical terms. Point - a location, labeled using a capital letter. Line - a straight path that has no thickness and extends forever. Collinear points - points that lie on the same line. Noncollinear points - points that do not lie on the same line.

5 Vocabulary Plane - a flat surface that has no thickness and extends forever, a plane is names using either an uppercase letter or three noncollinear points that lie on the plane. Coplanar - lines or points that are in the same plane. Noncoplanar - lines or points that do not lie in the same plane. Intersection - the point or set of points in which two figures meet. when two lines intersect, their intersection is a single point. when two planes intersect, their intersection is a line. if two lines or planes are parallel, they will never intersect
