3 What is it the Photosuisse contest
Photosuisse is a photography contest between Swiss clubs. CERN Photo Club participates every year on volunteer basis, giving several advantages to members: 50% of the annual fee + all submission expenses taken in charge from the club Organisation done by the club (Responsible: Andrea from 2019; thanks to Arie for the previous…xx years!) Possibility to submit the photos to the club for review, feedback… Photosuisse book free of charge for all participants Your commitment: To submit your choice of photos in due time (see deadlines in the next slides) To prepare your photos on files and eventually supports; supports provided by the club, printings at your charge. How to submit your work Printed images Prepared on a support: Minimum thickness 1mm - Maximum 3mm (including the image) Minimum dimensions 30x40cm – Maximum 40x50cm Title written on the back of the image – no other writings accepted All printed images should be accompanied with a digital file in TIFF format – Longest side 3500px Digital images All files shall be in TIFF format – Longest side 3500px CERN Photoclub - Photosuisse part 2 - Andrea Musso

9 Main rules of the contest
How the points are assigned (recall) The jury is composed by 3 experienced persons, independent from the association; they are giving for each photo a score from 1 to 10 The 3 scores are added and give a final total score The total number of accepted artwork is decided by the jury, and it shall guarantee to select with a ratio of 25% to 33% (individual) and 33% to 40% (portfolio). Additional Results Accumulating point system giving right on distinctions.
